If you are looking for a celebrant with a passion for helping people to make the best of their special day, I think I can be of assistance... call me!
I previously worked with an NGO of the U.N. and in 2001 was appointed as a legal celebrant and over the years I expanded my abilities to deliver a rich range of ceremonies for all Australians and even for the occasional overseas couple...
I know how important your wedding day is and I am ready to go the extra mile to make it a day to remember.
This is why I limit myself to do only one wedding on any given day.
I take care of the legal registration of your marriage, can provide a portable PA system with Bluetooth to assist with music and a signing table with two chairs if needed.
As a celebrant with flexibility, I am able to provide a Christian wedding or a civil service with rituals relating to your particular spiritual tradition. If you only require a quick and easy legal ceremony, no problem!
Give me a call to discuss your needs.
A wedding doesn't have to cost the Earth and it depends on how much is in your budget. Compared to other wedding costs, the celebrant will be a minor expense. However, the celebrant is the critical piece in the puzzle which can make a stunning performance or be a disappointment, according to their ability and experience. Choosing the cheapest option is not always a good idea.
Also, there is a big difference between having a legals only ceremony with 2 witnesses and one with 250 guests, rehearsal, music, rituals and answering any amount of emails and phone calls before the wedding.
Keeping that in mind, cost will vary depending on your requirements.
Here is a basic guide:
After you have chosen your celebrant, contact them and make sure that they are available for the date of your wedding. Lock in the day with your booking fee.
Meet with your celebrant, discuss everything that you want for the ceremony and complete the Notice of Intended Marriage form (NOIM) with supporting documents at least one month before the wedding. NOIM is available at http://www.ag.gov.au/FamiliesAndMarriage/Marriage/Documents/Notice-of-intended-marriage.pdf
If you are planning to have a rehearsal, try to lock in a suitable date with the celebrant and the venue.
Sign the Declaration of no Impediment to Marriage before the wedding or at the time of rehearsal.
Now you can focus on all the other things that you need to do to make it the best day of your life!
